The Dead Sea is drawn as one body. It split into two basins in 1979 when the falling water level exposed the Lisan sill; through the whole biblical period it was continuous.
Lake Huleh, north of the Sea of Galilee, is restored. It was drained in the 1950s but was a substantial lake and marsh in antiquity.
